UPDATE: Bus Detour for Nos. 30 & 76 in Kearny and North Arlington - Monday, July 12 to Friday, July 16, 2021

Effective Immediately, Ridge Road will be closed between Belleville Turnpike and Midland Avenue due to construction. During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 30 & 76 in Kearny and North Arlington will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward North Arlington Loopwill travel from Ridge Road at Midland Avenue, make a right on Midland Avenue, left on Forest Avenue, left on Seely Avenue, right on Elm Street, left on Belleville Turnpike, right on Ridge Road, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Newarkwill travel from Ridge Road at Belleville Turnpike, make a left on Belleville Turnpike, right on Elm Street, right on Midland Avenue, and then left on Ridge Road.

Note: Bus stops may be lost during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully, and allow for extra travel time.

NJ TRANSIT has resumed front-door bus boarding and cash fare collection on buses with protective barriers installed around the operator. Buses without protective barriers will continue to board from the rear, and cash collection will remain suspended.
